Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Women aged 18 years and above 2. Scheduled for laparoscopic surgery for benign gynaecological condition 3. American Society of Anaesthesiologist (ASA) classification I-II: ASA I – normal healthy patient ASA II – patient with mild systemic disease without substantive functional limitations (BMI < 40 kg/m2, well-controlled diabetes mellitus / mild hypertension, mild lung disease)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Conversion to laparotomy 2. Allergy to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) drugs or paracetamol 3. Pre-operative emphysema / chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) 4. Women who do not understand the questionnaire 5. Pre-existing shoulder pain 6. Intellectual disability
