The patients will be randomized into two groups: 1. EHRP Group, the study group, where the patient is discharged (within 2-3 weeks post-surgery) when he/she could walk independently with a quadripod

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Geriatric patients less than 85 years of age with femoral-neck fractures 2. Patients who had Austin Moore Arthroplasty, Cemented Thompson replacement, internal fixation with hip screws or dynamic hip screw surgery 3. Patients who, pre-morbidly, could walk without support or with a stick 4. Patients with no active medical problems detected 5. Practice full weight bearing walking immediate post-operation, and 6. Patients living with family members
