Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 18 years or older 2. A clinical diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) for at least one year 3. A baseline HbA1c between 7.5% and 11.0% 4. Ownership of a smartphone with the WhatsApp application 5. The ability to read Arabic

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Type 1 diabetes 2. Pregnancy or lactation 3. Severe diabetes-related complications (e.g., end-stage renal disease) 4. A cognitive impairment that would preclude meaningful participation
