Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients presenting with deliberate self harm to a district general hospital and subsequently seen by members of a specialist self harm service are randomised to receive a card versus treatment as usual. Criteria are adulthood and valid consent.

Exclusion criteria: Not provided at time of registration
