Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Current inclusion criteria as of 11/09/2015: 1. Any patient scheduled to undergo staging laparoscopy or laparoscopic liver surgery at the Royal Free Hospital will be eligible for enrolment in the study 2. There are no gender restrictions and the recruitment age is 18 to 80 years old Previous inclusion criteria: 1. For the first step any patient requiring a laparoscopy for the preoperative staging of abdominal malignancy can be included 2. For the subsequent step any patient scheduled to undergo laparoscopic liver surgery at the Royal Free Hospital will be eligible for enrolment in the study 3. There are no gender restrictions and the recruitment age is 18 to 80 years old
