Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants were recruited from the Diabetes Centre of York Health Services NHS Trust. Eligibility criteria were: 1. Type 1 diabetes for longer than 12 months 2. Multiple injection therapy for at least two months 3. Minimum age 18 4. Able and willing to participate in the intervention
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children under age 18 2. Type 1 for less than 12 months 3. Incapacity to participate fully in the programme
