Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subjects clinically diagnosed with COPD as defined by the American Thoracic Society (ATS) 1.1. Predicted post-bronchodilator Forced Expiratory Volume 1 (FEV1) of < 80% 1.2. FEV1/Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) ratio of < 70% (which does not change markedly over several months) 2. Subjects able to walk independently

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects who had suffered from severe sensory or cognitive impairment 2. Subjects who had suffered from symptomatic ischemic heart disease 3. Subjects who had had practiced TCQ within a year prior to the commencement of the study
