Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients presenting evidence of gag reflex 2. Willing to accept acupuncture 3. Treatment requires upper alignment dental impression

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with normal gag reflex 2. Patients with known bleeding dyscrasias, but not including those who are anticoagulated 3. Patients with poor communication (language hearing difficulties)
