Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 60 patients admitted with total or subtotal fingertip amputations to be offered shortening of the finger or reconstruction.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with multilevel or associated injuries will be excluded.
