Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: A total of 60 patients, undergoing open inguinal herniorrhaphy. Male patients listed for open repair as day case of a primary unilateral inguinal hernia under the care of two NCH consultants.

Exclusion criteria: No known exclusion criteria.
