Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. University students enrolled in one of the selected research methods course sections during the 2025-I academic semester 2. Tenth academic term students 3. Age 18 to 40 years 4. Perceived Stress Scale-10 score greater than 9 at baseline 5. Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale standard score of 50 or higher at baseline 6. Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index global score greater than 5 at baseline 7. Able and willing to provide written informed consent and comply with study procedures

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Prior participation in meditation, tai chi, or yoga 2. Current psychiatric treatment or psychopharmacological treatment 3. Pregnancy 4. Acute flu-like illness 5. Loss of smell attributable to COVID-19 6. Known sensitivity or adverse reaction to essential oils identified during the pre-intervention skin sensitivity test
