Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Newly referred to palliative care 2. Cancer diagnosis 3. Over 18 years of age 4. English speaking 5. Someone in the home able to operate the telehomecare equipment 6. Three pronged outlet in home 7. Digital Subscriber Line provision possible

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Life expectancy <2 weeks upon referral as evidenced by a palliative performance scale (PPS) score of 20% or less
