Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children with developmental or congenital cataract with visually significant lenticular opacity (3 mm or larger).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Eyes with traumatic cataract and associated ocular abnormalities were excluded.
