Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 200 women in latter stages of pregnancy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Women who intend to have a second planned elective caesarian section 2. Women who do not understand/speak English well enough to give valid consent 3. Non-cephalic presentation; known fetal abnormality 4. More than one previous LSCS; previous classical, inverted T or J incision to the uterus 5. Multiple pregnancy 6. Pre-term labour 37 weeks 8. Induced labour
