Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Any patient who is to have a fixed appliance placed at the North Staffordshire Hospital Orthodontic Department

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Enamel surfaces presenting with caries, fillings or gingival hyperplasia. 2. Molar brackets
