Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults aged 18 and over 2. Severe hypertension (systolic >180 mmHg and/or diastolic >110 mmHg) 3. Referred for same-day specialist review (for cases only)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pre-existing renal replacement therapy 2. Acute stroke
