Male
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Male, lower age limit of 17 years 2. Diagnosis of an intellectual disability (intelligence quotient [IQ] less than 70) or developmental disability 3. Detention under the Mental Health Act 4. A patient on our ward
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who are acutely mentally ill such that they are judged to be unlikely to have capacity to give consent to take part, or are unlikely to be able to actively participate in the group 2. Patients who lack capacity 3. Patients who decline participation within the clinical intervention
