Interventions

Participants will be asked about their views and experiences of diagnosing and monitoring airways disease including their views on the new app.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. A diagnosis of airway disease (COPD or asthma) as reported by the participant OR current/previous cigarette smoker (more than 10 cigarettes per day for more than 10 years) AND 2. Good standard of speaking English and able to read and understand study materials 3. Willing and able to give informed consent for participation in the study 4. Well enough to participate in an interview/focus group
