Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients: Children aged 6 – 59 months admitted with SAM (WHZ 12.5 cms or WHZ score = -1 and no nutritional oedema)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Positive for HIV
