18 Years to 60 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18 years or older 2. Amateur male golfers with stable golf practice experience 3. Recent 18-hole scoring performance approximately within the range of 90 to 100 strokes over the previous 3 to 5 rounds 4. Normal or corrected-to-normal vision 5. No colour blindness that would interfere with completion of the Stroop task 6. Low habitual caffeine intake, defined as less than 50 mg per day 7. Free from acute injuries that would affect golf swing or putting performance 8. Able and willing to complete all study procedures, including coffee intake, the Stroop task, Tour Tempo music or no-music control, putting tests, and indoor golf simulator tests

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Known allergy, marked intolerance, or medical contraindication to caffeine, coffee, or decaffeinated coffee 2. Cardiovascular conditions that make caffeine intake or golf testing inappropriate, including arrhythmia, uncontrolled hypertension, coronary heart disease, or other relevant cardiovascular disease 3. Neurological conditions or symptoms that may affect safety or performance, including epilepsy, frequent migraine, or other relevant neurological symptoms 4. Recent musculoskeletal injury affecting the shoulder, elbow, wrist, lower back, hip, knee, ankle, or other body regions involved in golf swing or putting performance 5. Current use of medication that substantially affects central nervous system function, heart rate, alertness, sleep, or motor performance 6. Hearing impairment that prevents standardised delivery of Tour Tempo music through headphones 7. Colour blindness or visual problems that would interfere with completion of the Stroop task 8. Habitual caffeine intake of 50 mg per day or higher 9. Inability or unwillingness to comply with the study procedures, including caffeine abstinence, standardised breakfast, coffee intake, Stroop task, Tour Tempo music or no-music control, putting tests, and indoor golf simulator tests
