Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (International Classification of Diseases, 10th edition [ICD-10]) 2. Aged over 18 years, either sex 3. Attend the diabetes outpatient clinic at Lerdsin Hospital

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Not diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (ICD-10) 2. Do not attend for follow up at the diabetes outpatient clinic at Lerdsin Hospital, Thailand during the study period 1st May - 30th November 2008 3. Appointment is scheduled less than one working day before their appointment
