Inclusion criteria: 1. Documented coronary artery disease 2. Chronic stable angina

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Left ventricular systolic dysfunction 2. Renal failure 3. Concomitant warfarin therapy 4. Allergy to allopurinol
