Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children aged 6–11 years enrolled in primary schools across Poland, Portugal, and Hungary.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children's whose parents did not sign the informed consent or who are not willing to participate in the spirometry testing.

MeasureTime frame
Feasibility of the intervention measured using data collected on the number of recruited schools and families; the number of children attending the educational session and doing the spirometry test; the number of acceptable spirometry tests performed; and the degree of satisfaction with the educational session at baseline;Prevalence of impaired lung function in children, defined as an FEV1 below the Lower Limit of Normal (LLN) measured using spirometry at baseline;Knowlege of respiratory health and children and teachers adopting behavioural changes measured using questionnaires at 6-month follow-up
