MeasureTime frame
1. The proportion of dogs in each community (village) that have been vaccinated. A dog will be considered vaccinated if, on post-vaccination coverage monitoring, it is found to have a microchip when scanned using a handheld digital scanner. Only dogs vaccinated in this study will have a microchip, as this technology is not otherwise used in Tanzania. 2. Number of human dog-bite injuries assessed using hospital record data collected at district hospitals in the Mara region of Tanzania from October 2019 to August 2023 3.
