Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All mother-child dyads with 1 year old children within catchment area (no migration during tenure of trial)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. All the mother-child dyads with children aged more or less than 1 year 2. Death of either mother or child 3. Non-residents 4. Child known to have congenital abnormality, history of delayed cry or seizures, cretinism

1. Use of reversible contraception in the registered mothers, measured using questionnaire at 24 months of age 2. Child anthropometric measurements (height and weight) at baseline and 24 months of age 3. Maternal mental health, assessed using PHQ-9, GAD-7 and WHO mhGAP based questions at baseline and 24 months of age
