Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 6 to 15 years 2. Diagnosed with a Speech Sound Disorder involving difficulty with lingual articulations

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. No spoken English (at home OR at school) 2. Evidence of severe/profound current hearing loss 3. Major physical disability or structural abnormality of the vocal tract

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Intelligibility is measured using the Intelligibility in Context Scale at each of the three baselines, immediately post-intervention and at 3 months post-intervention.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Accuracy of speech production is measured using probe word lists and the Diagnostic Evaluation of Articulation and Phonology at each of the three baselines, immediately post-intervention and at 3 months post-intervention.
