Inclusion criteria: 1. New multiple myeloma patients 2. Aged over 18 years old 3. Ineligible for transplant

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Sepsis 2. Severe infection 3. Pregnancy 4. Patients with severe disease (such as acute hepatitis, chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis) 5. Elevation of aspartate aminotransferase (AST) >3 times upper limit normal (ULN) 6. Participated in another study 7. Poor performance status
