Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Levels of circulating endothelial progenitor cells (EPC), circulating endothelial cells (CEC), Hs CRP, ADMA, lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) activity, Neutrophil lymphocyte ratio and monocyte lymphocyte ration in peripheral blood measured using an assay of blood sample at baseline and 6-months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
At baseline and 6-months: 1. Anthropometry 1.1. Blood pressure (mmHg) 1.2. Weight (kg) 1.3. BMI (kg/m²) 2. Thyroid hormones, and endothelial markers such as EPC, CEC, ADMA measured by blood test 3. Cognitive assessments: 3.1. Mini mental state examination (MMSE) 3.2. Montreal cognitive assessment (MoCA)
