Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Male and female aged 8 to 18 years 2. In contact with community-based mental health services 3. Meeting diagnostic criteria for anorexia nervosa or eating disorders not otherwise specified that closely resemble anorexia nervosa (EDNOS-AN)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: We will only exclude those cases of young people whose clinician-reported data is insufficient to assess eligibility

| 1. Age-adjusted percentage median body mass index (BMI) 2. Health of the Nation Outcome Score for Children and Adolescents (HoNOSCA), a routine outcome measurement tool that assesses behaviours, impairments, symptoms, and social functioning of children and adolescents with mental health problems. 3. Outcome category according to the Morgan and Russell criteria, a widely used measure of outcome for anorexia nervosa. Outcomes will be measured at baseline, 9 and 18 months after baseline. | — |
