Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Persons assigned female sex at birth 2. Aged 35 years or older, or experiencing premature menopause from any age 3. Enrolled on the Health Agency’s “Menopause Walk with a Doc” course 4. Able to speak conversational English (however, if there is an interested participant with a need for an interpreter, if the Health Agency are able to provide this for the course, the research budget for the project will cover the cost of interpretation of the research aspects).

Exclusion criteria: Those not meeting the inclusion cliteria will be excluded

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The severity of perimenopause/menopause symptoms is measured using the Menopause Rating Scale prior to commencing the intervention, after completion of the intervention, and at 6-month follow-up.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The perceived level of stress is measured using the Perceived Stress Scale (10-item) before commencing the intervention, after completion of the intervention, and at 6-month follow-up.
