Study Design and Recruitment:This is an observational study using quantitative and qualitative methods combining quantitative registry data and questionnaires with qualitative focus group interviews.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Referral Status: Patients formally referred for inpatient occupational rehabilitation at the Hernes Institute. 2. Age Range: Individuals between the ages of 18 and 67 years. 3. Informed Consent: Participants must provide written informed consent to take part in the study after receiving information upon admission. 4. Language Proficiency: Ability to read and write in Norwegian.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Language Proficiency: Inability to read and write in Norwegian. 2. Discontinued Treatment: Participants who prematurely terminate or discontinue their stay at the institution. 3. Lack of Consent: Individuals who do not provide written informed consent to participate.
