Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients (=18 years) 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I–II 3. Scheduled for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of neurosurgical procedures or head injuries 2. Prior hepatobiliary or gastrointestinal surgeries 3. Chronic renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance 3 14. Emergency surgery 15. Intraoperative identification of gallbladder inflammation 16. Conversion to open cholecystectomy 17. Advanced malignant disease discovered during the procedure 18. Intraoperative complications (e.g., significant bleeding, organ injury, or need for extended surgical resection)
