Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Eligible for and attending for a LDCT scan as part of the NHS Lung cancer screening programme 2. Ability to understand the study procedures and provide written informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Participant with a contraindication for study procedures or sampling in the opinion of the investigator or research team 2. The absence/withdrawal of consent

1. Lung cancer is correctly identified by a positive OXcan test compared with a low dose CT scan at 3 and 12 months more than 75% of the time 2. No lung cancer is correctly identified by a negative OXcan test compared with a low dose CT scan at 3 and 12 months more than 99.5% of the time

1. Proportion of people without lung cancer who have a negative OXcan test at 3 and 12 months 2. Proportion of people with lung cancer who have a positive OXcan test at 3 and 12 months 3.
