Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants are candidates for common ENT or head and neck surgeries. Participants have adequate cognitive capacity to understand study procedures. Participants are adults aged 18 to 85 years. Participants are able to read and write in Persian. Participants provide written informed consent to participate in the study. Participants have access to a smartphone for receiving online educational content.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants refuse or withdraw informed consent Participants have a diagnosed cognitive impairment affecting comprehension. Participants have a severe psychiatric disorder that interferes with participation. Participants lack access to required digital communication tools.

Patient knowledge improvement regarding ear, nose, and throat diseases and head and neck surgical care after receiving the structured patient education program. Timepoint: One week after surgery. Method of measurement: Patient knowledge will be measured using a validated patient knowledge questionnaire related to ear, nose, and throat diseases and head and neck surgical care. The questionnaire will be completed by participants one week after surgery.	—
