Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients over 18 years of age undergoing hepatobiliary surgeries, including hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic surgeries, either emergency or elective, for whom abdominopelvic computed tomography is available before their operation, will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Having immunodeficiency diseases Repeat laparotomy Lack of access to surgical data More than 20% of medical information is flawed Unwillingness to participate in the study

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence of postoperative wound infection in patients undergoing hepatobiliary surgery. Timepoint: Primary outcomes were recorded daily during hospitalization and up to thirty days after surgery and readmission due to wound infection up to 30 days after discharge. Method of measurement: The patient's clinical status includes fever, tachycardia, and tachypnea, surgical wound status (healthy, inflamed, serous discharge, purulent discharge), drainage discharge status (color and volume), occurrence of surgical complications in the wound including: seroma, hematoma, and readmission due to wound infection within 30 days after discharge from the hospital.

MeasureTime frame
Determining the frequency distribution of fever, tachycardia, and tachypnea in patients undergoing hepatobiliary surgery with subcutaneous drain placement. Timepoint: Daily during the patient's hospitalization. Method of measurement: Extracting information from patient records.
