Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age over 18 years Have an acute fracture Have a closed fracture Underwent percutaneous pinning

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Unwillingness to participate in the study Previous fracture on the same side Polytrauma Neuromuscular injury Disease that the researcher considers to be incompatible with completing the study Be under treatment for another disease

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence of CRPS in the two study groups, severity of occurrence, and time of occurrence. Timepoint: End of week 6 or 12 after injury. Method of measurement: CRPS will be diagnosed using the Budapest Diagnostic Criteria. The severity of CRPS will be assessed using the CRPS Severity Score (CSS).
