Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The parents with under 8 years old child Not to receive prior training on Silver Diamine Fluoride by parents. Obtaining written and informed consent from parents to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Not to complete the questionnaire by parents after receiving training.

Measure	Time frame
Percentage of parental acceptance of the use of silver diamine fluoride. Timepoint: Immediately after training the parents, the questionnaire is completed by the parents and collected. Method of measurement: The level of parental acceptance will be assessed using a questionnaire. The questionnaire used is a modified version of the questionnaire used in the study by Ammar Al-Boujir et al., and was translated, localized, and modified according to the conditions of the present study with the opinion of dental experts from the Faculty of Dentistry, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. The validity and reliability of this questionnaire will be assessed in a sample of 20 people before the main study begins.This questionnaire includes demographic information of parents, questions regarding parents' opinion regarding darkening of caries site after using silver diamine fluoride in primary anterior, primary posterior, permanent anterior, and permanent posterior teeth, as well as a question regarding parents' preference between using silver diamine fluoride and treatment under general anesthesia for managing dental caries until the child cooperates.All questions are designed on a five-point Likert scale, from “strongly disagree” to “strongly agree.” For each question, the percentage frequency of the options selected by parents will be reported separately.	—
