Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 1 based on DSM-5 criteria by a qualified psychiatrist, and obtaining a score within the range corresponding to Level 1 on the Gilliam Autism Rating Scale, Third Edition (GARS-3). Age range: 8–12 years. Hearing within the normal range based on recent audiometric examination. Written informed consent from parents or legal guardians. No receipt of music therapy or structured auditory training protocols within the past 24 months. Absence of severe neurological disorders or active seizures, as well as the absence of comorbid conditions such as ADHD. No use of attention-stimulating medications at the time of study entry.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Uncontrolled epilepsy or active seizures within the past six months, or occurrence of seizures during the study period. Initiation or change in dosage of medications affecting attention during the study period. Comorbid severe psychiatric disorders or severe intellectual disability, and any unforeseen medical condition as determined by the investigator/attending physician that would interfere with the implementation of the intervention.
