Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (based on the SCORAD index with a score below 50).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Presence of psoriasis or other skin diseases. Any known previous hypersensitivity to any component of the prepared medication. Bacterial infection or concomitant systemic disease (except asthma and allergic rhinitis). Use of antihistamines or corticosteroids during the past three weeks.

Mean clinical symptom score based on the SCORAD index. Timepoint: 4 weeks. Method of measurement: Lichenification = Thickening of the skin with prominent skin markings resembling tree bark (lichen) — SCORAD criterion.Erythema = Redness of the skin — SCORAD criterion.Papulation (Papules) = Small, raised, solid skin lesions — SCORAD criterion.Dryness = Reduced skin moisture and elasticity — SCORAD criterion.Pruritus (Itching) = A sensation that provokes the urge to scratch the skin — SCORAD criterion.Oozing = Secretion or exudation of fluid from skin lesions — SCORAD criterion.Crusting = Formation of a dry layer or crust on the skin surface — SCORAD criterion.Scratch marks (Excoriations) = Skin abrasions caused by scratching — SCORAD criterion.Extent of affected area = The percentage of body surface area involved with atopic dermatitis lesions — SCORAD criterion.Sleep disturbance = Difficulty falling asleep, frequent nighttime awakenings, or reduced sleep quality due to itching or skin discomfort from atopic dermatitis during the three nights prior to completing the form — SCORAD criterion.;Mean pruritus (itching) score based on the VAS scale. Timepoint: 4 weeks. Method of measurement: Visual Analogue Scale questionnaire for assessment of itching severity.
