Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Drug allergy to Meloxicam Multiple attempts at intubation History of chronic sore throat History of recent upper respiratory tract infection

Post-extubation sore throat score under general anesthesia. Timepoint: Measuring sore throat at entry to recovery and 6 hours and 24 hours after extubation. Method of measurement: Based on the Visual Analogue Scale pain scale.	—
