Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Parents aged between 18 and 45 years Iranian parents The infant is the first child Parents without stress or with low stress levels Parents willing not to participate in the study Parents having informed consent Parents not entering into another intervention or studies during participation in this study Parents not suffering from physical or mental illness or not using sedatives or anti anxiety medications Parents able to read and fill out the questionnaire Parents able to make daily hospital visits Infant with a minimum weight of 1500 grams, healthy appearance and gestational age between 32_36 weeks Infant not require mechanical ventilation Infant without grade 3or4 intraventricular hemorrhage No surgical intervention performed on the infant or not required Infant without congenital anomalies Infants without umbilical artery catheter or chest tube Absence of hypothermia or neonatal respiratory problems Infants able to feed

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Use of mechanical ventilation device Infants unable to oral feeding Infants requiring intubation or receiving vasodilator drugs. Infants who cannot be removed from the bed or incubator and require medical interventions

Parental Stress scores based on scale of designed by Miles et al. Timepoint: Measurements at before intervention, hereupon and 4 weeks after intervention. Method of measurement: Parental Stress Scale for parents of infants admitted to Neonatal Intensive Care Units, which was designed by Miles et al.;Paternal adaptation is assessed using a questionnaire, which was designed by Eskandari et al. Timepoint: Measurements at before intervention, hereupon and 4 weeks after intervention. Method of measurement: Paternal adaptation questionnaire, which was designed and psychometrically validated by Eskandari et al.
