Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients with a definitive diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke Age between 18 and 80 years Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of 15 National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score less than 15 Absence of coagulation or platelet disorders at admission Obtaining informed consent from the patient or their legal guardian
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: History of previous stroke or cognitive disorders and Alzheimer's disease Receiving thrombolytic therapy (rtPA) for the current stroke Known hypersensitivity to saffron Suffering from advanced liver or kidney diseases Occurrence of fever or seizures at the time of initial admission
