Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Married women Age 18 to 49 years A minimum of one year since diagnosis of diabetes Having a minimum literacy level equivalent to completion of the first year of high school Provision of written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Affliction of either spouse with a specific physical or mental illness. Use of medications that may affect sexual function (currently or within the past six months). Substance or psychoactive drug abuse by either spouse (based on the wife's report). Experience of stressful life events in the past six months (death of a child or loved ones, severe illness of close relatives, imprisonment of a family member, depression, etc.). Emergence of circumstances that disrupt the couple's relationship (such as violence, divorce, official assignments, etc.). Forced marriage or emotional estrangement from the spouse (based on the wife's report).
