Inclusion criteria: Male taekwondo athletes aged between 18 and 23 years They were required to have at least 4 years of experience in provincial or national taekwondo championships, also, participants were required to hold at least a red or black belt

Lower body explosive power. Timepoint: Before the application of the independent variable and after the last session of independent variable application. Method of measurement: Standing Long Jump.;Kicking impact force. Timepoint: Before the application of the independent variable and after the last session of independent variable application. Method of measurement: Using an electronic body protector (hogo) and by striking the trunk and head of the mannequin.;Reaction time. Timepoint: Before the application of the independent variable and after the last session of independent variable application. Method of measurement: Time from a visual stimulus (light) to initial foot lift-off from a pressure-sensitive plate. Custom-built sensors system combined with a computer-based timer (milliseconds) were used to measure this outcome.;Quickness. Timepoint: Before the application of the independent variable and after the last session of independent variable application. Method of measurement: Time from foot lift-off to target contact on mannequin head. Custom-built sensors system combined with a computer-based timer (milliseconds) were used to measure this outcome.;Balance.
