Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with skeletal Class III malocclusion diagnosed based on cephalometry and clinical examination (normally SNB ˜ 80° ± 2° and SNA ˜ 82° ± 2°) No history of previous orthognathic surgery Patients who are not currently undergoing orthodontic treatment Age 20-30 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Insufficient quality of radiographs or imaging records for performing measurements. Presence of systemic disease (such as diabetic patients or any patients with bone disorders) and severe infection Patients with open bite (i.e., lack of vertical overlap of the upper and lower anterior or posterior teeth, confirmed by clinical examination (measuring overbite with a ruler and checking contacts during functional shift) and diagnostic records) are excluded from the study Individuals with Vertical Maxillary Excess (VME) are excluded from the study. VME is associated with a gummy smile. Excluding these patients increases the homogeneity of the sample and the accuracy of analyzing vertical angles such as FH-MP or N-Me

This study aims to evaluate skeletal changes of the jaws following orthognathic surgery in patients with skeletal Class III malocclusion. Timepoint: Maximum 6 weeks after the intervention. Method of measurement: Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) and lateral cephalometry images with cephalogram.

Skeletal Class III malocclusion characterized by an abnormal anteroposterior relationship between the maxilla and mandible, commonly presenting as mandibular prognathism, maxillary deficiency, or a combination of both. Timepoint: Maximum 6 weeks after the intervention. Method of measurement: Maximum 6 weeks after the intervention .
