Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Skeletal muscle mass(Measuring the amount of muscle changes in the body). Timepoint: Pre-intervention, and 1, 3, and 6 months post-surgery. Method of measurement: Bioimpedance analysis(BIA device: inbody570).;Muscular strength (measurement of changes). Timepoint: Pre-intervention, and 1, 3, and 6 months post-surgery. Method of measurement: handgrip dynamometer.;Muscular function (measurement of changes). Timepoint: Pre-intervention, and 1, 3, and 6 months post-surgery. Method of measurement: In the 4 meter gait speed test, the time required to walk 4 meters is measured. In the 5 times sit to stand test (5STS), the time required to sit and stand up from a chair 5 times in succession. The time taken from the start of the first movement to the end of the last movement is recorded using a stopwatch. | — |
