Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Obtaining informed consent from patients Candidates for simultaneous phacovitrectomy No zonular weakness due to underlying disease or prior ocular surgery Anterior–posterior (axial) eye length of 21–25 mm No history of corneal disease or keratorefractive surgery
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Uncontrolled systemic disease that prevents safe surgery Ocular anatomical abnormalities that make standard phacovitrectomy impossible
