Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Grandmothers (maternal side) must be willing to participate in the research study Participants must be currently present as volunteers/informal caregivers by the bedside of their daughter (the new mother), providing care for both the mother and the newborn, and must provide Informed Consent Participants must be Iranian nationals residing in Isfahan Grandmothers must not be professional healthcare or clinical staff The age of the grandmothers must be between 60 and 70 years old The newborn must not be part of a multiple birth Grandmothers must possess the necessary physical, psychological, and emotional readiness (given the specific condition of the mother) to participate in the study. Specifically, grandmothers identified while providing care to their daughter and grandchild in the hospital setting at the time of sampling will be selected. Their baseline physical and mental health status will be assessed by the researcher (including current medication use), and consultation with a physician will occur if necessary. Grandmothers who self-report an inability to provide adequate postnatal care to their daughter and grandchild will be excluded .Exclusion of both mother and newborn from the Neonatal/Maternal Intensive Care Unit (NICU/ICU) The mother must not have significant Postpartum Depression (PPD), nor a history of psychiatric medication use or consultation with a psychiatrist Mothers must be nulliparous (having given birth for the first time) The newborn must be free of any congenital anomalies
