Interventions

Intervention 1: Intervention group: Injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) at the fracture site immediately after standard surgery. Intervention 2: Control group: Standard fracture surgery.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diaphyseal tibial fractures that are candidates for closed intramedullary nailing (IMN). Age over 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Refusal to continue participation in the study Open fractures Patients who cannot undergo surgery within 72 hours after injury due to clinical conditions Pathologic fractures and low-energy fractures. Use of chemotherapeutic drugs within one month prior to the study. Patients with hematologic disorders, such as cytopenia Failure of previous surgical treatment (device failure).

MeasureTime frame
Tibial fracture union rate. Timepoint: Three and six month. Method of measurement: Radiographic union score for tibial fractures(RUST).
