Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Having an order for hemodialysis at least one day prior (i.e., not a newly started patient). Age between 18 and 80 years old. Receiving 4-hour hemodialysis sessions three times per week. Ability to speak and comprehend the Persian language. No urgent/acute indications for hemodialysis (e.g., complications following surgery or anesthesia) that lead to unplanned dialysis sessions. No self-reported history of major psychological problems or anxiety disorders. Patients having a total fatigue score of 50 or higher, as assessed by the Multidimensional Fatigue Inventory (MFI-20)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Concurrent use of anxiolytic medications Participation in regular programs or activities that may affect Patient's withdrawal of consent to participation in the study Occurrence of any sign or symptom indicative of an allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to the essential oil
